CrewText turns cluttered group chats into organized plans, checklists, and visual dashboards — automatically, with zero extra effort.
⚓ 1. Start a CrewText Chat
Create a project chat for your upcoming event, task, or group coordination project. Input your initial details (such as goals, dates, budget, or ideas) to set the initial sails.
👥 2. Gather Your Crew
Invite your friends, family, or team directly to the workspace using their email addresses. Everyone in the chat can text ideas, dates, budget concerns, and links.
📋 3. Tap "View Deck" to See the Plan
As your crew chats, CrewBot works behind the scenes. Tap the View Deck button (or the Deck tab on mobile) to open your live, interactive planning dashboard — complete with timelines, polls, maps, dining tables, and checklists. The Deck updates automatically as new messages come in.
⌨️ 4. Use @ Commands to Direct CrewBot
You can supercharge the chat with three special @ commands:
Ask the whole crew a question with options (e.g. "@everyone — steak or seafood?"). CrewBot automatically creates an interactive voting poll on The Deck.
Give CrewBot a direct instruction to change or add to The Deck — e.g. "@crewbot add a day-by-day itinerary" or "@crewbot group activities by location."
Ask CrewBot to research something in real time using Google Search — e.g. "@search can we have beach fires in Corolla?" — and it will reply with accurate local info.
⚙️ 5. Interactive Management
The Deck updates on a 5-minute cooldown to keep AI costs in check. You can vote in polls directly in the app, edit summary details inline, or hit Rebuild Deck anytime to have CrewBot fully redesign the dashboard based on the full conversation history.

🤖 Android (Chrome)
- Open CrewText in Google Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right.
- Select Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Launch the app from your home screen.
- Tap the **Settings icon** (⚙️) in the header and click Enable Notifications.
🍎 iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open CrewText in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (arrow-up icon) in the bottom toolbar.
- Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
- Launch the app from your home screen and sign in.
- Tap the **Settings icon** (⚙️) in the header and click Enable Notifications.
